Huh? What's real? Lately I've been asked all sorts of curious questions about my books from fans, readers, interviewers, reporters and bloggers. There's nothing wrong with those inquisitive inquiries, however, I can be quite a tease when it comes to answering them. I like hiding messages in my stories and responses since it keeps people guessing and that's a lot of fun!
Since not everyone has read my latest release, Compass, I will be dropping hints and offering really interesting tidbits about it. To answer one question now, yes, Alfred is real. Who's Alfred? You'll have to read the book to find out. See? I can be cheeky about it ;)
Numerous scenes from summer camp are based on true events. Which ones you ask? Hmm, I'll let you figure that one out. Yep, Serena is alive and well although her real name is Belladonna. So is Parker, who goes by the name of Liam. And last but not least, Ethan is real...in my head. He's actually based on a young version of Jude Law.
Since the trilogy series is based on my life, many aspects of my personality and actual events have been incorporated into the story. Which parts feature the real me? Go find out. Pick up a copy of Compass today. It's a wickedly fun ride!
